About Haze Sentinel

Fire is local. Smoke is not. Haze Sentinel follows what moves next — from ignition through atmosphere to soils, waters and decisions — without impersonating the agencies that measure the world.

The initial operating focus is Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian haze system, with architecture that can expand globally. The ASEAN Specialised Meteorological Centre is treated as the principal regional reference, analogous to the role NAFI plays in Australia.

Related Sentinels include Marine Sentinel (coastal deposition and water-quality consequence), Terra Sentinel (land clearing, peat, burn scar) and Biota Sentinel (ecological response). Relationships are typed and distinguished as observed, derived, correlated, hypothesised, causal candidate, or validated causal.
